Haunted by win32k.sys

This error has plagued me over the last few weeks. I suspect it has direct relations to the recent windows updates which I have applied a few weeks ago as that is the only variable that has changed. According to the Microsoft support site at http://bit.ly/6mQgHr

This problem may occur when you run a program that dynamically creates and deletes menu items within a loop. If you use the keyboard to control the program menu, you may trigger a race condition in the menu handler of the Win32k.sys driver during the MNOpenHierarchyfunction call.

However looking back to the last time I ran into this issue I remember that I was running VMware Workstation 6.5 when my system crashed. Though it does not occur every time so it may just be coincidental at this point.
